Long life, easy to change out, and fits great in the made-for-it Atto backpack. Must have, in our opinion, to insure we're never out of charge. Charging the battery is simple as plugging it in. No problem whatsoever with taking the battery and it's spare on board the airplane.

For extra convenience and the ability to do more and go further, I purchased an extra battery. I travel too much and don’t want to wait the 3 or so hours to charge a dead battery. It’s easier, safer, and more convenient to swap the battery and keep going. Plus, there is no guarantee that I can find a place to charge in a U.S. national park or around Europe and the UK.

I was trailing to Orlando for a national conference during the day followed by Disney at night with no time for charging the battery in between- the extra battery came in very handy - as I was driving the scooter at the fastest level and it does drain the battery much quicker. Thanks to the Burbank team I was able to purchase and pick up my extra battery in a very last minute purchase.

Popped it in and it works great! We now know that the scooter battery cannot be left uncharged for long periods of time or it will die. Lesson learned!
