MOBILITY SCOOTERS FOR MS: STAY INDEPENDENT WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
LIVING WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS MEANS NAVIGATING UNPREDICTABLE MOBILITY
Multiple sclerosis affects 2.8 million people worldwide, and mobility becomes one of the first casualties. Muscle weakness strikes without warning. Spasticity turns movements into exhausting battles. Balance disappears when needed most.
The progression follows a predictable pattern: walking less, depending on devices more, shrinking your world to conserve energy. People with MS face unique challenges-good days and flare days require different support levels. Indoor navigation demands precision, while outdoor stability becomes essential.
From the grocery store to a family vacation, Movinglife mobility scooters fold in seconds and go where you go.
Fatigue is one of the most common MS challenges. ATTO lets you save energy for the parts of your day that matter—classes, work, travel, social plans—by covering the long or unpredictable distances (airports, campuses, malls, city sidewalks) that drain you most. Folding takes seconds, so you can switch from riding to walking when you want without losing momentum.
Heat sensitivity can temporarily intensify MS symptoms like fatigue, balance or vision changes. ATTO helps you avoid overexertion in hot environments by reducing walking load and time spent in direct sun at airports, theme parks, festivals, or city touring. It folds quickly for shade breaks, cabs, or indoor stops, and the compact footprint keeps you moving through cooled spaces with ease.
Yes. ATTO is designed for air travel: it folds to carry-on size and its battery is airline compliant. At security, treat it like a mobility aid—remove the battery only if your airline requires it, and carry documentation. At boarding, ATTO fits in most standard overhead bins, so you keep it with you and avoid gate-check risk.
ATTO’s low center of gravity and tight turning radius give you predictable control in airports, queues, shops, museums, and restaurants. The single-front-wheel geometry helps you pivot precisely around people and obstacles, supporting variable balance or coordination without feeling bulky.
ATTO splits into two lightweight parts and also rolls in trolley mode, so you minimize lifting. It fits in virtually any trunk or taxi. For stairs or walk-ups, separate the unit to reduce load or ask a companion to carry one section—each piece is more manageable than a full scooter (the heaviest section weighs just 38.5 lbs).
Yes—this is where ATTO shines. The compact footprint and turning radius are built for narrow hallways, elevators, and tight room layouts. It parks upright by a wall, slides under desks or tables, and folds away discreetly when you want it out of sight.
ATTO’s fold/unfold steps are intuitive and the riding controls are straightforward, reducing cognitive load on hectic travel days. Tiller and seat adjustments help you find a relaxed, repeatable posture so you can focus on where you’re going—not how to operate the scooter.
Many MS users choose ATTO because it looks like premium travel gear, not hospital equipment. The sleek, modern design blends in at airports, hotels, events, and campuses—helping you feel equal and confident, not singled out.
ATTO covers typical daily itineraries for errands and travel days. The lightweight battery is easy to remove and charge in a room or café. Carrying a spare extends range without heavy lifting. For flights, keep batteries in carry-on if required and avoid charging unattended onboard.
When urgency strikes, speed and access matter. ATTO helps you cover distance fast across terminals, venues, or city blocks, take elevators without fatigue, and navigate directly to accessible restrooms—reducing stress on days when symptoms are unpredictable.
On days when balance is affected by MS symptoms, ATTO provides a stable, secure seated ride with automatic speed reduction during sharp turns, low center of gravity, and responsive braking to ensure safe maneuvering indoors and outdoors.
The ATTO mobility scooter was engineered for people who need stable and reliable mobility support. Whether managing daily fatigue, navigating balance issues, or simply needing a break from walking long distances, the ATTO is your perfect partner.
It folds into a compact suitcase-sized unit for easy transport and storage and unfolds in seconds to help you move freely and confidently. With a single front wheel for tight turning and a wide rear wheelbase that provides four-wheel-style stability, the ATTO is ideal for indoor maneuverability and outdoor stability, which MS users need on good and flare-up days.
If you're the adult child of a parent with MS, buying them an ATTO helps reduce the physical and emotional stress of mobility limitations, making outings and daily errands safer, easier, and more enjoyable for everyone and giving you peace of mind when you aren’t around.
COPING WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS? HERE’S HOW A MOBILITY SCOOTER CAN HELP
Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease progresses in a way that makes most mobility scooters a poor fit. This complete guide explains what to look for, from split-mode lifting to open floorboards, so you can choose a scooter that works with your body rather than against it.
David Blatt built his career on leadership, resilience, and the ability to win at the highest levels of basketball. Today, while living with multiple sclerosis, he has found in ATTO SPORT a mobility solution that helps him stay independent, active, and fully engaged with life.
More than 58 million Americans have arthritis. Nearly 16 million live with COPD. Close to one million manage MS. Across every one of these conditions, mobility loss is one of the most significant day-to-day challenges. Research confirms that mobility scooters increase participation in activities users would otherwise miss entirely.

I was able to take the scooter everywhere we went in Europe. It worked great on all of the cobblestones and uneven surfaces in Athens, Taoromina,Rome, Florence, Pisa, Nice, Saint Tropez and Barcelona. With a doctor's note, I was able to take the elevator up to the Acropolis, where I completely circumnavigated it except for maybe a hundred foot section that I had to get off and use walking sticks. I also was able to ride up to the Temple of Poseidon with a little assistance on some stairs. I road all around the ancient Agora in Athens. I took it to the ruins in Ephesus, and Knossos in Crete. The only place that was a challenge was Herculaneum. There are eight inch curbs in the ruins. I took it in all of the museums that we visited. I was expecting to have to cancel our trip due to my knee injury but this saved the day. I had a cushion, but it didn't help very much so I didn't bother with it. I did get a workout on my tailbone. So remember to shift positions so that you're not constantly joggling it. The salespeople tell you, it will be easy to travel with. I strongly recommend that you let the airlines know in advance that you are traveling with this. At the gate in Barcelona, they could not understand what to do with it. They literally pulled us onto the plane and when my husband went back to find out what they were doing with it, they said they'd packed it up and put it in the hold. Unfortunately, they put the cover on wrong and destroyed it and broke the wires going to the brake. This was on our way home. So we now need to file a claim with the airline.
Hard to figure how to get together, then how to keep handle from falling back on me, then how to get handle flat for travel, but love speed ease of turning, took on bus for tours and key fob great !
I spent two years looking into buying a scooter. I compared types and prices and I found that I always came back to the Atto Movinglife scooter. The thing that was most important about a scooter is the ability to travel around and take the scooter with you. This is the number one that always popped up as being the best. Don’t look at the price just get the one that suits your w.
I traveled to New Hampshire 6/13/26 on a plane with my atto sport scooter, it was amazing and easy getting around the airport. Everything was easy handling.
It took a few times, or I should say more than a few times to get the hang of things on his scooter but I think we’re pros now. My husband LOVES IT! And I do too because it allows more mobility for him and other activities we can participate in together. As you can see in the video I’m on a bike and he traveled close behind. Thank you!
We went on a cruise to Alaska and had a life changing experience. Flying to Vancouver from LA, staying overnight in Vancouver and exploring the ship and the awesome ports was spectacular. These scooters made it all possible. No more “stuck on the ship”. The scooters were the star of the show every step of the way. From transfer vehicle drivers, airline staff including pilots, hotel valets, to cruise ship staff everyone was fascinated by our scooters ability. Most of all other passengers everywhere wanted info on these scooters. Especially those who had struggled throughout the cruise with rental scooters or walkers and were totally sold on this model. We did our best to pass on info on how to get one for themselves or family members. All in all we feel great about our purchase and excited about the world that is now open to us. Already planning next ADVENTURE!! Thanks to the Orange California Moving Life store for your support, training and inspiration. You are the best!
Scooter dating, best thing now with my wife and me. We look at going to the mall and places with lots of walking now in a whole different light we can see things together play around like kids talk to people about these crazy scooters that we have and wish and as they wish they had one Parker scooters right in a restaurant and enjoy our meal and hop on and go. I love it. I can walk, but it doesn’t take long before my body says no more so this is the perfect solution. The scooter is well-made extremely it’s made in Israel and their craftsmanship is superb. It is a little on the heavy side, but what do you want from a Cadillac of the industry? I have a flimsy scooter which does a job it’s a para aesthetic brand but in no way does it compare to Atto scooter.
I love it very much. I’m more comfortable now that I have one. I take my scooter to all my Royal Caribbean cruises. I recommend it to everyone that owns an Atto Scooter !
I have really enjoyed the Atto Sport scooter. I’m a bilateral bk amputee and have trouble walking long distances. Was looking for a scooter that was easy to fold up and transport. Additionally the extra length allows me to stretch my legs out. I’ve used the scooter for walking my dog, shopping. It’s easy to load into the car as long as you separate into two pieces otherwise it is somewhat heavy. It’s easy to drive and has good speed. For me it’s a great unique scooter and would buy again.
Bag is very well made. The inside pockets are plenty and there were little details that I didn't expect. Attaching to my Otto is simple and I primarily used this bag while traveling. Removing the bag to carry and vice versa is a cinch. Great purchase!
I had been looking at ATTO scooters for more than a year and compared other models. I am a power wheelchair user that doesn't travel with my power wheelchair due to airline's handling of said chair so I travel with a manual chair and my husband has to push me on our excursions. We like the mobility and the compact design of the ATTO scooter, perfect for air travel.
One downside is, if you want arms, a better seat cushion, a cell phone holder or other items, they are charged separately and at a higher cost.
The other downside....I hesitated in making my purchase at the Abilities Fair in Fort Lauderdale and was going to wait until Black Friday. Both the lead sales person, Howard, and the owner of Moving Life, questioned my position. I told them I wasn't in a hurry and could wait until the Black Friday specials to occur. So the owner stepped in and offered me the BF special of a free 25 mile battery ($899) and $100 off of the scooter plus a free phone holder ($49). For the accessories, I purchased a Travel Bundle, but was provided with no additional discounts. And as expected BF happened and they offered all the accessories I had purchased at the Abilities Fair, at a BF 25% discount. Then additional promos have also been marketed.
Bottom line, I reached out four separate times to reach Howard, my sales rep, starting on BF to request a review of my account and to inquire about the BF promos. To this day, I have received no response. Disappointed, as I gave a good faith purchase based on the info Moving Life provided...that I was offered their best BF special(s). I could have and should have waited.
Held up well, loved it went to Universal Studios took the VIP tour instead of holding the crowd up waiting on a bus. I collapse it like a piece of luggage went down the escalators and had a great day. Thank you.
The armrests although expensive appear to be well made and once installed easy to use and fold back into the seat-back when not needed. Better installation instructions should be enclosed , I had to search thru "You Tube" videos to find more explicit instructions.
Leather seat cushion is comfortable, easy to put on and remove when folding. There is a zipper at the base of the cushion that is dedicated to attach to the carryall cushion. I have a carryall cushion but there is no way that both cushions can be attached to each other, the 2 zippers do not align with each other.
Movinglife should improve their instruction inserts that they supply with their accesssories, they are very vague and most times useless. I purchased several accessories for my Atto Sport which I found to be very useful and well made, but the instructions to install were terrible.
The EZY Light is narrow enough (I think about 21 inches?) to fit through my apartment door easily. I use it to go down to the dining hall and for bingo nights.
I have been stuck in the house for months because my knees just can't take the walking anymore. My grandson found this Ezy Light for me online. I was nervous about buying it without trying it first but let me tell you it is a GODSEND.
Loving every minute of it. Can’t walk far but I can with my MAX. I’m limitless now. Used it at airport and have vacationed with it. Even at Disneyland and Disney World. This is my second scooter. WHOOPIE!
